FEBRUARY PARENT NEWSLETTER
With the increased cost of printing and mailing newsletters to each student’s household, and given the financial state of our economy, THS is now publishing the Parent Newsletter each month to the THS website throughout the school year.

FBLA SCRAPBOOKING FUNDRAISER
The Tumwater High School Future Business Leaders of America are hosting another scrapbooking crop fundraiser to raise money for State Conference costs (approximately $300 per student).

• When: February 27, 2010 from 11am-8pm
• Where: Tumwater High School Commons
• Contact: Karen Knight, FBLA Adviser
• Registration Form (register by 2/19 and save $5)

APRIL THS TRAFFIC SAFETY CLASSES
Dates: April 19 to June 9, 2010
The first 28 students to pay are guaranteed a seat in the class.
Classes fill up fast.  Next class will be in the summer.

Class of 2010 Year End Activities and Graduation Calendar

• Thursday, June 10th – Senior Finals during regular class time - 2nd, 3rd, & 4th period
• Thursday, June 10th - Senior Awards Night at 6:30-8:30 p.m. with Refreshments @ 6:15 p.m. in the big gym
  
• Friday, June 11th – Senior Finals during regular class time – 5th and 6th period
  
• Friday, June 11th – Baccalaureate (Optional) at 7:00 p.m. at the Mt. View Church of the Nazarene
  
• Monday, June 14th – Senior Final – 1st Period
  
• Monday, June 14th - Senior Honors Assembly after 1st period at 8:35-10:00 a.m. (no 2nd period)  
  
• Monday, June 14th - Graduation Practice (Mandatory) following Assembly 10:00 a.m. in the gym
  
• Tuesday, June 15th – Senior Breakfast at 9:30 a.m. in the Commons (Seniors only)

Do you need help understanding financial aid? How do you apply? The answers to your questions are available to you! Attend Financial Aid 101 on-line and you will gain an understanding of what financial aid is, who is eligible, where the money comes from and how to apply.

PARENT ON-LINE ACCESS
The Skyward Parent Access Program will allow you to instantly check your student’s grades, attendance and much more online.
